it not only decides on the description from a dictionary, but how it is expressed in a server.. in era, there is way more unity in "gangs" then from any other server. They are different in this case, the gangs in era stick together way more and are against everyone that isn't an ally...
Out of Era's gangs there are guilds which are way more diverse, they'll wear the tag and have guild wars and such, but they are not against everyone that doesn't wear the guilds tag.
You can't just go by a defined word in the dictionary, there are more things that decifer the end result of the simularities and differences from guild to gang.
In this case, I would have to say that a gang and a guild are different. In another one, they could be exactly the same. |
