Imagine this - you fight someone and the both of you use swords. Suddenly he casts flaming aura or some large area attack, something deadly by any means. You had no idea that he could or would. If you see him switch to a wand then you know something will come. So in my poinion there is a point for using wands, and also, they don't hurt after all, do they? |
