I don't see the big deal with managing two playerworlds, if you can take on that task. I've had many ideas for new playerworlds I'd like to create, but I'm focused mainly on Oasis. Although it shouldn't mean I couldn't do something on the side as well.
It all depends on the person. There really should be no written rule saying you can't do two things at once. It's like saying you can't rub your stomach and pat your head at the same time. Not everyone can, but some can. It's called "multitasking".
Personally it gets pretty boring working on the same thing all the time, when you have new radical ideas in your head. So it's quite hard to stay developing one project. That is why I think it's important that people should be able to work on something else or take breaks from their main project, before it drives them insane. If I worked on my playerworld every day, with all my free time, I would hate doing it, to the point where I just burn out and give up on the project. |
