Since I think you said you where on Linux earlier, a .sh file on linux is just like a .bat on Windows, just with Linux any file type can be marked as excutable, just change the permsion of the ile to be excutable, and run it, .sh's arn't a file type you need to have another program to run.
I find the Linux version to be slow in some aspects, the graphics arn't that bad (other than transperency problems with some images), but I find sounds lag several seconds behind. My computer, while not top of the line, should be more than fast enough to run a 2D game (as it runs the free 3D games that came with my distro fast, now that I installed the current official NVidia driver.), it's a 1Ghz, with 384MB of ram, and a 32MB GeForce2.
