I think I've had the same problem as you Discharge. I think I'll just make it simple.

I've liked this girl since high school; right now we are attending the same college. She does the whole flirting thing with me too, like holding my hand, hugging, kissing, and staring. I've had deep feelings for her for awhile now. Unfortunately for me, she started dating a different guy the next day after I specifically told her that I did. So then after that I just pretty much ignored her at all costs and the next week she is back to flirting with me again.

Basically I don't think I'll ever understand how girls work. They can definitely make you feel good but they can also hurt you even worse. Of course, there are ways of making girls jealous which isn't very hard to accomplish. Rather then take physical action, I suggest getting even with her another way.
