It has nothing to do with graphics cards.
As Kaimetsu has pointed out, the card has pretty much nothing to do until you start playing. Also, Windows comes with default drivers that support almost any card to a certain degree, certainly enough to start Graal (although the colors won't look very nice). If drivers were completely missing, you could not even start Windows.
Just for the record, I have no graphics card at all and can do lots of stuff.
