gulla was an antebellum slave code language, it was bad english on purpose, even thought they probably talked bad english anyway (since they were AFRICAN afterall), gulla was just english with messed up sentences. Like this:
"I have to go to the market" would be something like:
"Market go me to"
they just worded the sentence structure differently, like I said, on purpose |
