All of the kings should be wise. And while it's true that some of the kingdoms might, in reality, use an election system based on physical strength, realism isn't the only factor we need to consider. Realism is just a tool, dude, not an objective.
The sad truth is that idiots
are being elected simply because they are powerful. In their place we need level-headed, balanced people who're not afraid to bar somebody entry because they can't RP. People who obsess about gaining powerful items will also obsess about improving the strength of their kingdom, and that doesn't lead to a good RPing environment. Roleplaying on Kingdoms should not always be about fighting. The kings should not necessarily always fight to win - running a kingdom is as much about making the game fun for your
opponent as for your own team - but the current rulers don't realise this.
