He was even asking if maybe Graal should become like those other games (furcadia, habbo hotel, etc) that are totally free to play, but players buy weapons and items and stuff with real money. Other games have done it and been successful. I mean buying stuff on Furc is barely beneficial to the player. It's just a new character graphic with or buying "wings" for like 25 dollars a year, that don't do anything but look pretty. You'd be surprised by how many people are walking around in that game with wings and special characters they paid tons for.

Yeah, Furc's system works very well, but I'm not sure it would be as successful here. A lot of Furc's sales on items like that come under the category of gifts for others (If anyone notices, they have sales and specials before most major gift giving holidays...Christmas, Valentine's day...etc), because of the nature of the game, friendships are formed more easily. I'm not saying it wouldn't be a possibility, but it's just that Graal doesn't seem to build friendships as easily. But yeah, I'll admit I've bought the occasional portrait. ^.^; And if the Graal subscription was free other than the extra items, I might consider buying something from there to support the game (I mean, there is a reason that this is the third year I've bought for my account you know. ^.~ )
