Its the nex generation for all Windows Platforms. Its has a totally rebuilt robust NT Kernal and new file system among about 3000 some odd other nice new fixes and add-ons. It even supports posix :P
The next release of a Windows based platform for "end-users" not professionals will use the same file system and kernal and core files. Also the new Microsoft Office 11 will only run on the new kernal from what i hear. |
