Heh, you are the first one to notice that. Well, as a matter of fact, I am using a gmap. But, I have chosen not to use very drastic height changes and such. I will use only small hills, but thats about it. The gmaps are more so I can have level preloading and a little tile variation by using the gmap heights more for distorting the tiles rather then making realistic terrain...
