Yes. Definitely so. It would neither be fair to remove these armors (Some of us paid good money for it, others like me sold our only other suits, some people have probably already started improving theirs) nor to just say Tough to everyone else who wants one. Make real, complicated, expensive alchemical recipes. Scale Mail of Ruggli - 3 water of diamond, 5 mecury, 8 iron plates, 15 int minimum, or something like that. It'll give Alchemists something to do, put demand on their field. Or better yet, make the recipe call for pre-smithed items - Scale Mail of Ruggli requires Gold Chain Mail, then there's demand for blacksmiths and miners in addition to alchemists. The newbies even get a cut. |
