Day/night system's been the same for a very long time...it isn't going to be changing anytime soon.
Everything looks fine for me on my screen...even in the darkest parts of the "day" I still am able to see. Might be your video card, your driver, the way graal handles it (are you using the last revision, revision 7?), or even your monitor's brightness could be low. |
