My opinion on the house: small, for this reason: you have to really look to make out the details and what not to really get a good mental image of it, not just because it's not the accustomed style. After i read through the rest a lot of people seemed to agree and i think my reason is the same as theirs, they just might not have been able to explain it.
Also, it may just be me... but "Diamond Peaks"? That sounds like a ski resort... it made me think of some inane server filled with jobs selling lift tickets, lol
I would suggest from what i've read so far that you change the name to something more like "Diamond Frontier" or along those lines... frankly i don't even know where you get the diamond part from, not that it isn't just kind of a cool word
Work on that name, make the graphics have more color contrast to highlight the details that you want to show in the tiles and you should have a good start.
