2k1 can still be p2p and attract the same amount of people, Chris. The problem is it is BORING RIGHT NOW. There is nothing to do, nothing to work on, and nobody to trade with.
If by some miracle 50 people started playing it again, then it would instantly become popular again, because there are people to interact with. That interaction is what keeps the server alive.
Game gets boring. Some players leave. There are less people to interact with. It gets more boring. More players leave. Even fewer people to interact with. Even more boring. Cylce continues. |
