I was saying that Nemesis is the only one who can decide if you will not be manager.
I highly doubt he would completley fire you, after all your work, though. However, if he deems someone else more qualified for the position than you, he might change your positions.
Not saying that he's absolutley going to though, just saying there's a possibility.
