From what I recall, option explicit requires that all vars, etc, be dimensioned. I may be forgetting something, but why would anyone want to force the usage of dim? If something requires dim then you can use it, but otherwise why waste your time and thoughts by using dim? Moreover, if you do option explicit and forget a dim, you have to go back and find the undimmed variable, then compile again. |
