you DO need great math skills to become a GREAT programmer, I'll use myself and kaimetsu as an example
me - I think I'm a pretty good script, but I'm not that great as math (since I'm only 14, haven't learned it all yet), I know how to use the commands and such but I cant do all the formulas needed to make things like that new 3d engine that kaimetsu has made that requires mathimatical skills
kaimetsu - great scripter, knows how to work the commands AND has math skills so he can script AND throw in math
You can master the commands but in order to make realy great things that are beyond the commands base use, you need math skills, like for that 3d orb kaimetsu made, it uses basic showimg,changeimgvis/colors/zoom but it is going beyond the basic use of the command since math formulas to make it have a 3d effect are in place |
