My computer is in my room, I have a nice corner desk (one of the good corner computer desk kinds) No one ever uses it but me, except when my niece comes in and messes around with my mouse. 
My mom hates computers, and my sister got skipped in the gene pool when it came to technology, so my computer is all mine.  I feel sorry for the people out there that don't have computers in their rooms, don't have a lock on their bedroom door, or have to share a room with a sibling. I doubt I could get anything done on my computer if it wasn't in my room.

I've been using computers for a long time now and I never have real problems. Also my dad knows like everything about computers so if anything goes wrong he just fixes it right up
I have a nice computer in my room (DSL though, we need a router so I can get the cable info from downstairs so I'm faster since Cable is faster than DSL in downloading but DSL is faster in uploading). My mom only uses the computer (downstairs, not mine, only I use mine since it's in my room) and she only uses it for AOL and talking with her friends from all over (since I move a lot :-/). I don't like anyone touching my computer
