I have not once, in all my years of computer use, had a program that messed up my computer badly, and I've been using computers since I was like 10 years old. (nearly 9 years)
My computer is in my room, I have a nice corner desk (one of the good corner computer desk kinds) No one ever uses it but me, except when my niece comes in and messes around with my mouse.
My mom hates computers, and my sister got skipped in the gene pool when it came to technology, so my computer is all mine.
I feel sorry for the people out there that don't have computers in their rooms, don't have a lock on their bedroom door, or have to share a room with a sibling. I doubt I could get anything done on my computer if it wasn't in my room.
