wel why can't you just do this much. if you still have the old one or have some one that can give it to you. fix it real fast. cant take more then 15 minutes. then stick it up so it works so tags are made in 30 to 40 mins. then go back to your "new" one that is made from "scratch" so atleast it works half decently i made my guild global for a reason and one of them was to make tags my self and to make them fast.
