1D and 2D can't exsits. becasue we NEED to see 3d. If something had no depth and had width and height. it would not exsist. You need height to have width and vice-versa.
Nothing we make is perfect. We can only say its near-flawless.

A projection on a wall is 2d. Because the light is bouncing off the wall, so there is no thickness.
