Screw magic. At some point you have to choose to be a mage or a fighter or thief you can either take Door #1, which leads to magic, Door #2, which leads to a more powerful sword technique, or Door #3, which leads to increased stealth. You can take the magic door in one quest and the fighter door in the other and become a red mage, moderately skilled in swords and magic. You can take magic both times and be a full on mage. You can take swords both times and be a full on swordsman. You can take like the thief door both times and be a full on thief, or fighter+thief=rogue, or mage+thief=assassin, or whatever. |
