Oi, I like all those ideas! The Mail System is great, I really like it, and while I hate to be flamed for copying off Harry Potter, some people could even have carrier birds, not just owls. For the demonic two and a half century reformed demon priest on the go, of course. I really, really like the Mage Idea, and here's a little bit of refinement:
Mages/Priests glow with an aura of power, like you said. Once they get ready to train, Mages get to choose between certain elements, as much of an RP cliche as that is, but once you've attained a skill in magic, you can also begin learning some lower level spells in other spheres. The Mage Spells, could mabey even have the lights condensing into the spell itself....that would rule.
Priests have to either choose between Alighnments, mabey, or possible Avatars. If we do Avatars, we must have Mytri. We must. WE MUST. Priests have some offensive magic, but are mainly just for healing and defending.
Also, since the mage lights might become a strain, perhaps each kingdom sends ONLY those Mages and Priests ready to train to get these powers.....I can't wait until I'm radiating a brilliant golden/pearly aura of holy mystic energy, sasheying into my mansion, I woln't even need lights. |
