I have some minor slowdowns on my computer on the outside levels, but it's basically negligible.
And Shorty's advice about 16-bit colours actually depends on video card drivers, the one I'm using, for example, is faster while using 32-bits colours since I'm using drivers which are optimized for handling 32 bits of colour information. |
