I agree , it may not be a true reflection of the person at all; just someone who has alot of friends, but it is a step in the right direction... But maturity and responsiblity cannot be measured by popular vote... this after all is a business and not just a game to anyone on Staff or should be , a true reflection would be how they handle the responsiblity they now have and set an example by what they do , not on how many people like them on these Boards. See how the interact with the Staff and players on the PW they now work on or Graal Staff they now work with , to me you would want a person who not only sometimes does what they should but ALWAYS.
Be an example to all they come in touch with and always have the best interest of Graal in mind , to ask "what can I do for Graal ?" Not what will Graal give me....Those who want to be first must first be last....

I read it after and didn't want to edit my post on it. But as you are correct as well.......The fact is Graal needs people to put all personal feelings aside and do the right thing, hire the RIGHT people not someone because they are a friend it's because they do the job well. Basically those who are hated either do their job and do it well, or they are "corrupt" as people like to through around and half can't even begin to describe corruption....
For example, DeathChill is one of the best graal admins graal has had.....You tell him the rules and good luck trying to get him to sway away from the rules......He does his job and does it well, whether you love him or hate him, it doesn't matter because he gets the job done 9 times out of 10, everyone is not perfect, yet everyone will dislike a lot of ideas. What I think is this voting could work yet maturity is needed not about who's friends with whom, and who's done what for whomever.
Anyhow thats how I see things......Moon God makes excellent points......but can't say "you have to be this age to be staff" yet on the other hand you have to draw a line somewhere......13-15 year olds barely can get jobs at any places, unless they are lucky enough, and I'm not talking about working for a friend, babysitting, etc, talking about real jobs......where you join the workforce, without getting in through family ties or friend ties.......Just somewhere a line has to be drawn and the best people are chosen from there........Restrictions and rules must be in place otherwise you get some guy who just wants to be staff to mess up graal.....yet i know a few people who are out to do so, it'll be funny to watch if they get picked too......
