Did I ever say characters? For 1, characters are not rescricted on colors - 256 colors allowed with them. For 2, that is a base body, without equipment. Compare that body to your character without equipment, then we have a fair comparison. Until then, it isn't a valid compare. For 3, compare our tilesets. 2 level screenshots would be a valid compare, I have one somewhere in a Murasamune thread, look for it then compare.
