the levels would be a problem to create. I have a program that can create levels like that, and it takes friggin forever! All it is is a big hastle. Every single thing is a rendered image (except 2d sprites, that are the same on all sides).
I'd much rather play a 2d game. Just because It's 3d, doesn't make it more fun.
I don't know about the new g3d, but, i played an old version of it....Is there much of a difference?
As for g2k2, the only thing that resembles 3d is the water, where your shadow drops through the transparent water. Other than that, It just looks like skewed images to me. |
