Ways of possibly impoving Graal -Stefan and Unixmad please read!
|
Okay these are some ideas I think that could possibly impove Graal a great deal. And I mean a whole LOT!
My idea is that maybe Stefan and Unixmad can somehow make a deal with an internet service to host this game on their servers.
A good example would be like 3D Chat Worlds for Juno. Juno Members get to use the 3D Chat Worlds for free if they are premium members. All outside members have to pay like 12 dollars a year to be able to go to other worlds. And there's hundreds of detailed worlds for people to visit and chat in. People can also build their own worlds and have their own created avatars in those worlds.
Now say you take Graal, and somehow work out a deal with an Internet service where premium members can play free, and outsiders have to pay a certain amount maybe 24 dollars for the year.
Of course this would increase the cost of people having to pay for their internet service, but it would probably only be a few cents.
Say for example. Stefan can work out a deal with AOL where they have all their stuff hosted on AOL servers. Graal can be put as an addition to AOL. AOL members can play for free as long as they are an AOL member. Imagine having over 100,000 players on Graal. That would mean lots of money for Stefan and Unimad, maybe. All the outsiders who are not members will have to pay to play though, maybe 24 dollars, or maybe as low as 12 dollars.
It all depends on what kind of deal that is made between Stefan and the internet service. But I do think that it would greatly improve Graal by making it worldwide.
I guess you kind of get the idea that I'm trying to present. It sounds good and if it would be possible, then I would recommend it being hosted on an Internet Service's servers. That way there will be a set TOS's that players will have no choise but to follow because if they break the TOS's that service uses then they will be suspended for a short time and additional violations will cause a person to be terminated. AOL for example will suspend you for a certain amount of times. Eventually at some point they ban the name of the person paying for the service.
What do you all think of this idea? |
