Kai, people got all the hats because when you used to be able to switch to online mode from offline mode you just rename the level, set some hat strings and there you go. The only time it happened to me was when I entered the bomy temple with my FAQ Chief tag on.
I thought for a second that I was given them but then realized I wouldn't ever recieve anything like that, so I asked lamer which hats I had. I had only the regulars. I reconnected and only saw the regulars.
