Amen, Alkaren, Amen.
I know I haven't been the... *cough* friendliest person on the forums lately... no, scratch that, I haven't been the friendliest person PERIOD. I've been overly rude and obnoxious to people, and I really think I should change that. I'll try my hardest not to lash out at people from now on. Really.
However, this goes both ways. People like The Game think it's quite fun and amusing to insult everyone and everything. If I or anyone else (moreso I, considering he has some sort of premature grudge on me. I like to call it a "personal vendetta.") makes a thread apologizing to people for the actions prior to creating the topic, he immediately shoots it down and calls it "dumb," including the "word" gah at least once. If someone wants to tell people something, it should NOT be considered dumb. Believe it or not, it takes a lot of will power to realize when you're wrong and admit to it. When people do this, they should be commended, not shot down. And I am not just speaking for myself, I'm speaking for everyone who has ever done this.
Furthermore.
Now it has evolved into hypocracy. People (The Game is a prime example) feels the need to insult not just the apology threads, but every one a person makes (yes, I know I am talking about myself, but I HAVE seen others who have recieved this treatment). When other people make threads, people like this do not say anything about them. It is usually targeted at one specific person.
If people want to make the forums a better place, we need to start by putting an end to this utter idiocy. No one is forcing me to read these forums, I can agree to that, but if one or two, even three people are ruining it for everyone, it needs to STOP.
I know for a fact that The Game is going to reply to this post with something along the lines of "gah, you're dumb," "gah, you should be banned," "gah, no one cares," or "gah, you're a hypocrite." That's expected. I think he needs to learn that I could not care less about what he thinks, although I really do not appreciate being shot down with every post I make. I am not quite sure what went wrong between the two of us. Maybe he just woke up one morning and realized that I just wasn't smart enough to be his friend. Whatever the case may be, it is irrelevent now. What IS relevent is that Alkaren is right.
I think these forums are in a state of chaos, and this needs to CHANGE. If we all got our acts together, everything might be somewhat normal again.
Thanks.
