Every extra kingdom makes the roleplaying system work worse. Right now, we can support 2 or 3 kingdoms, and no more. Some players will be spread between too many kingdoms. The fact of the matter is, it doesn't matter how good an idea is for a kingdom, I or anyone else could imagine 20 good ideas for good kingdoms in a matter of seconds. It's simply statistics and what we already have.
Besides, there are principles to it. By keeping it to the same kingdoms roleplaying is reinforced between those kingdoms. And, some kingdoms just deserve the respect of not having to put up with little upstarts messing with them. The only new kingdom I would support is Vermain's kingdom, because it was one of the original planned kingdoms. |
