However, it is a design like the original Japanese court, wherein the courtiers were really, in spite of their titles, unimportant in the affairs of the kingdom, and mostly forgotten for their sometimes unsavory personal behavior.  I console myself with that.

Hm. I have talked to the Empress, and she said she'd like them removed, but she wanted YOU to do it because she was not good at removing people. It's really none of my business; I just feel that they are disgracing the Samurai title.
