Look, if I am extremely good at if/then statements, I may be able to come up with a creative way to do a ton of stuff with them.
But my scripts will be 1200 lines long while Kaimetsu's will be 150 lines long. Does that mean that because of my "creativity" and dedication to perfecting an extremely limited skill I am a better NPC programmer than kaimetsu? No! Kaimetsu can do 10 times as much, with more efficient code.
That's what level making is about. You may be very good at using the same old tiles but you still have a very narrow and easy to learn skill, and you will never be able to do as much as the person who makes his own tiles. |
