You're wrong. The PlayStation is not a ripoff of the original Super Nintendo. The Super Famicom came out, and Nintendo was looking to enhance it. Thus, Project Atlantis, a joint work between Nintendo and Sony. However, the project split somewhere along the line, and the Super Famicom CD was no more. Nintendo decided to stick with cartridges for its next system, and thus we found the Nintendo 64. Sony took its half of Project Atlantis, mainly the CD idea, and made the PlayStation. There was no "ripping off" involved. I still have a picture of the SFCD somewhere... |
