The truth is irrelevent. 50% of the world has below-average intelligence (COUGH) but even though it would be true to call them idiots, it wouldn't be acceptable. Lots of people are overweight. Is it acceptable to run around calling them fat? Didn't Merlin get rather annoyed at somebody for pointing out this particular truth?
You're intentionally causing someone discomfort with no provocation (at least on these boards). I, and probably many others, call that harassment.
