I personally wasn't staff however I was on here posting threads about the issue for quite awhile that's why I remember it.
I'm not sure of the exact management, but this occurred prior to the Samurai Sword being added to the MVP shop so it was pretty long ago.
It got fixed eventually, yeah.
But they should be untradable because people would just keep converting coins into money via. these items... and players who didn't earn them would just buy them. Not only is that extremely lame and boring, but the players who
already have them would just gain a ton of personal value with the flip of a switch.
