Got some screenshots. Now remember, this isn't complete. I still need buttons for the visuals, change the menu for chat selection, clean up the smileys, and a few other things, but it is fully functional so far.
Regular chat shows up only for people in the same level. Shouts show up global for everyone. Guild messages show up if you have the tag on. Tells/whispers show up for each correct person. The tabs at the bottom need new images, but they work and sort between all chat, shouts, tells, guild, and system/server messages. You also don't see any chat before you're log in, and the technical way it works is it saves 50 of each type of chat, then starts overwriting itself to save on space (may still be too much not sure yet). All the messages are sorted by the time they were done as well.
Right now you have these commands and functions:
Chat Commands:
- /shout msg or /s msg to do a global shout
- /tell account msg or /t account msg to do a tell/whisper to a player
- /reply msg or /r msg to reply to the most recent player who sent you a tell
- /guild msg, /g msg, toguild msg, toguild: msg to send a message to your guild
- /party msg or /p msg to send a message to your party (won't work until we get our party system done)
Player Commands:
- <hp> - displays your hp in chat
- <hpp> - displays your hp as a percentage in chat
- <mp> - displays your mp in chat
- <mpp> - displays your mp as a percentage in chat
- <ap> - displays your ap in chat
- <app> - displays your ap as a percentage in chat
- <me> - displays your name in chat
- <pos> - dispalys the level, x, and y you are at in chat
Smilies: (not including the comma)
I'm also adding a feature where you can click on the player's name in the chat box and it will bring up either their profile or character profile.
Let me know what you think. Eventually we'll have options and such to change colors, size, etc.
