Viewing it as an idea, it sounds completely impractical and I wouldn't bother supporting it.

Viewing it as someone who has developed on Era in the past, it just plain wouldn't matter due to the fact that there is a damage cool down when a player is hit. Think of how quickly you would be hitting your key during combat. You might as well sit there and fire a 100% accurate, automatic weapon in a straight line at someone point blank and notice only 2 out of 5 bullets you just fired actually apply damage to the player because it was fired too quickly.

When you make suggestions, you have to take into consideration the pre-existing game mechanics which you can easily notice just by playing the game.
