Player Relations Team Application

Players of Era, the Player Relations team is in search of one new member. The PR Team is looking for a good candidate for the morning shift. These times consist of 6 AM. EST to about 1 PM. EST (servertime). European players and others who play early in the day on a regular basis are desired. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE OR PLAN TO BE INACTIVE. Remember while filling out this application that you should use proper grammar and spelling. Not doing so will severely hurt your chances of making it onto our team. Failure to provide the information asked of you will hinder your chances of becoming a member of the Player Relations team. Also remember to be as descriptive as possible on any questions other than the first three (because it’s basic information). As always, we wish you the best of luck in your endeavors!NOTE: Trial accounts are not eligible to become PRs.

Remember to double space between answers.

1) Account name


2) Nickname


3) Hours on Era

4) Timezone (and WHEN you are usually on Era - this is NOT number of hours per day.)

5) Staff Experience on Era or other servers?


6) Previous bans/jails on any server? This will be checked!


7) How knowledgeable are you about Era in general? Please note, this is not just a “GP” job, you are also assuming the role of FAQ and should be able to answer any questions that players have.


The final portion of this application should be answered in essay form. As always we expect proper grammar and spelling, as well as proper sentence structure. These essays should be no less than a paragraph, keep in mind that a proper paragraph is 4-6 well-written sentences. Writing more than the required amount will increase your chances of becoming a member of the Player Relations team, however not following the rules stated in this paragraph will render you ineligible and your application will be thrown out.



6) Why should you be hired, and what can you contribute to the staff team?

7) You see another staff member abusing their rights, what do you do?

8) You are having a disagreement with another staff member, how do you handle this?

9) Ice PMs you and says that Ray won’t stop harassing him (pretend they aren’t staff), what do you do?

10) A player PMs you saying they think another player is hacking/spawning/doing something illegal, how do you go about seeing if this is true?
