RC - Broken Characters

Okay, so I recently upgraded to Windows 8. I attempted to run RemoteControl2.exe and it shows up as the attachment below. Any suggestions on how to fix this error? I was running Windows XP Media Center Edition with Service Pack 3 beforehand and RemoteControl2.exe would run completely secure and without any errors. I have also tried running it with Compatibility Mode and that had no luck with advancing the situation for the better. |
