M3 is a superior weapon from a skill-based aspect.
Its able to hold its own as a beginner primary weapon, unlike shotgun (to a certain extent).
In other words, M3 vs. Shotgun, same skill level, M3 = Wins.
Got me?
Shotgun is a better weapon for support fire.
M3 is a better weapon for skill/combination in sparring/pk.
To better understand the balance, each weapon has his/her weaknesses in a Tier. No one weapon is way better than another if they're within the same Tier.
M3 and Shotguns are both Tier 1. The difference is not light years. Price is A FACTOR, not THE FACTOR. <- Understand that. |
