As far as I know it shouldn't be a problem as in the past me and my brother were using RC under the same ip address but the system may have changed since then. The only possible solution I can think of right now is to set the ranges to your computer ids instead of ip address, but that being said it still might not be a problem with specified ranges.
Edit: Also this thread should probably be moved to Tech Support.
Edit2: Just got my brother to login to the same server as me via RC and we are both connected.
