On a default Graal server with a level 3 shield, with a player having 100 MS of lag, a player will appear about 1.2 tiles behind where he actually is when hit detection comes into play. On Era, where your movement speed is well over the level 3 shield speed, with 100 MS of lag, you probably appear to be 2 or more tiles behind where you actually are when hit detection comes into play.
