Technically it's not dead.
Moreso suffocated to near-death, the spirit it once had is long-dead. It lives on as a lifeless zombie. But with a very very small flame inside of it which could possibly ignite life again once proper action is taken. (Which according to popular belief will never happen.)
It may seem very extreme, but that's my view on it. |
