NPC scripts are part of the level editor thus level artists should know how to use them and make their levels functional. Since when is it NOT a LAT's job to make usable and functional levels.
Else they're just making a mold and passing it to someone else to fill in. Which is pretty inefficient when we're talking about the inactivity and laziness that is the Era staff team. If the LAT doesn't have the ability to fill in the mold then they're seriously lacking and will be in a bind when faced with a real task.

Scripting is still scripting, even if it's in a level. I know what you mean, but I don't see how it's an LATs job to script - that's a whole other skill to learn. There's a reason we have scripters, they'll be the ones scripting that level, not the LATs. It's like of you're a designer for apple - correct me if I'm wrong, but all you'll do is design the product not engineer the software.
