i think the point is that what is being showcased is just the average "serverness" to show that the server is approaching the point of release. the uniqueness of the server will show itself through the experience of the server, which we plan to tweak as a finished product. what is unknown is the pace of the server (in my feelings at least) and it can really only be determined well by having the finished server, followed by gameplay by guilds
though the interpretations differ, this should be a very flexible classic server that avoids and improves upon what has been grown to become the norm. i wouldn't let the attitudes in this thread take away from the nature or purpose of armageddon itself |
