I also got my account 9 years ago and even then it never said you 'own' the account. It still said that terms are subject to change which is pretty normal with any account you get from any company. You are actually only paying for useage rights and there is never a clause saying that you get to do with it whatever you want. The emotions come out when you say the word 'rent.'
This is really no different than a credit card or bank account. They all have a 'change in terms' clause and a 'termination' clause. Cyberjoueurs is no different.
