When I unwrap the model, it is extreamly easy to customize the look of the body. It's like making a body gfx, just you need to focus on one frame, not the whole animation.
One of the biggest parts about graal I like is the customization, so I wouldn't want to make it hard if I did a 3d verson.
Hands are done now.
He is very low detailed, but I think that is more fitting to the environment and again, would make the game very smooth to play. Adding texture will make him look alot more detailed then he already is, so just wait and see
