Despite what you believe, you're hardly making a good point at all.
While you're right that it wouldn't change the nature of Graal players, it's irrelevant to this because:
(note how I said players can be harassed because of other things - things that can be kept obsure - while hours can't)
And taking out hours will cut down a significant amount of harassment - enough that I decided to make a post about it.

It's entirely relevant regardless of whether you believe it to be or not. I imagine it would be sort of hard to play most servers without using your items, which could easily become a target for insults (World of Warcraft is more than enough example for this), Kill/death/spar statistics, and so on. This sort of negative interaction will always exist among players as long as it is an online game, and considering all the things you could possibly be insulted for, if you really feel harassed or insulted about someone talking about your hours online, you're probably being oversensitive.
